CASE Transcaucasus
This web site reflects the goals and activities of non-governmental, not for profit foundation CASE-Transcaucasus. The foundation is an independent institution whose main goal is to develop knowledge about the economy by carrying out and facilitating economic research, as well as by conducting education and publishing and advisory activities.
In its activities CASE increasingly relies on local researchers and experts. In a number of countries doughter research organizations were created whose constitute public plicy institutes having NGO (foundation).

CASE - the Center for Social and Economic Research was established in 1991 as a private foundation. It is an independent, non-profit institute dealing with problems of post-communist transition, European integration and the world economy.
CASE's statutory activities include:
- Conducting policy research
- Advising governments, international organizations and the NGO sector
- Disseminating research results and economic knowledge via publications and other means
- Providing public education and training, including organization of seminars, conferences, academic internships, study visits and consultations, and
- Supporting the NGO sector in post-communist countries.
